Hi All,

I have been searching a lot to find the exhaust that would both give me the additional HPs as well as the muscle sound i am looking for. So finally i decided on the FI.

I am sort of not sure which one to get. Should i get the Carbon Fibre or the normal CB?

What do you guys recommend? anyone who already has this installed can you please share your thoughts (negative and positive)?

Also, I am planning on getting an HFC, any views on problems of having one on the car?

big pei had the FI exhaust w/ the HFCs and sounds great... even w/ the set up it wasn't too loud.

 

I dont really think there is much of a difference between the normal FI cat back and the CF cat back. I think the CF is just for looks. I could be wrong though. The only possible problems with HFC's are the possibility of throwing a CEL and depending where you live how picky law inforcement is about aftermarket cats and emissions tests.

 

I have CF and honestly I just got it for the looks!!! And looks amazing I love it and I'm in the process of adding RTP... I had ordered mxp but cancelled after 3 months and did not care that much for FI till I heard it in person. You want muscle sound this is it very throaghty and aggressive *** he'll as far as looks and sound !!! Get FI for sure an either carbon or stainless looks hot ... I wanted something different and unique and Crbon fiber on black cars looks so nice.... Get it

 

According to FI the CF ones are deeper

 

Carbon for looks But if you want a mans exhaust get the MXP

hahaha you cant go wrong honestly, it comes down to a matter of how you like your sound. But both are made very well.

OP just dont ask about Stillen, or Magnaflow please

 

Waiting for my FI CF with non resonated test pipes. If you want it louder the CF canister can be removed and you can remove some of the packing. For me I like it LOUD and proud.

 

Ummm.... yeah remove packing from a $1000+ exhaustcan you say honda

got the traditional set-up last week. ITS AMAZING. I dont know how much louder the CF is with the HFC (I didn't get HFC) but the best way to discribe the traditional set up is it's quite when you're just casually driving but once you get your RPM's at about 3,500 RPMs it really kicks in and only gets more agressive as you accelerate. Personally, I think this exhaust is perfect because it doesn't sound like rice rocket and doesn't sound like a muscle car- yet is still an agressive....Just like our cars.
