How can i get the stock G sedan's exhaust a little louder?
A good set of mufflers should do IMO, easy install, no headache. If you feel you still need more start working your way backwards. Just make sure you figure out what you want instead of ending up regretting not buying a full catback from the beginning
Someone said to me before that HFC make inside the cabin smell stink, not sure how much truth there is to that, and also would i have to be worrying about passing smog test when it comes time for inspection?
Wouldn't a full cat back change the whole tone? I understand that there is some performance gain from it however i love the signature Infiniti sound.
This seems right on the money, i love how the sound got a little bit deeper and doesn't seem too obnoxious.
No doubt Kenny, i wanna start by doing this mod to it then i'm thinking about dropping it on some eibach. The thing is thou i generally have people riding with me so i'm not sure how it will work out with the added weight of 4 passengers total plus NYC pot holes.
Have you ever seen or heard these on a G before? I did a quick google and only saw a video on an older M. It did sound good thou. Gotta do some more research on these.
Thanks for all the help, if anyone got other suggestions i'm still open to them.

I'll gather a list so maybe on your next service we can get some things installed here at the dealership while you have a loaner car from me.
Honestly, I had 5 people in my turbo G sedan with it slammed w/o any rubbing even with my 20's on and rolled fenders so don't worry about it too much. The only thing I did have an issue was my 3" full exhaust driving in NYC with the bumps in the road but your OEM exhaust will be fine.

see the difference in ground clearance....the most you'll worry about is your splash guard
we can do a custom rear exhaust set up on your car and have it a very mild tone just like the coupe-- not too loud and little drone for your commute to work.

I would recommend Stillen's exhaust since it's pretty clean looking with the dual muffler setup they've done.
Update:
So i decided to go the HFC route and got Berk's HFC and so far so good. Had it installed Tuesday and its noticeably louder, this is exactly how loud i wanted them to be. I can also feel some performance gain per the butt dyno.
One gripe i have thou is if i rev past say 4K then i hear like a metallic sound which is what i believe you guys call raspy. Is there a way to get rid of that metallic sound because other than hearing that annoying sound when it starts to rev high its perfect.
I was wondering if i had to do a full cat back in order to get rid of that sound because the exhaust is flowing more freely through the small stock pipe and a full cat back pipe would be about 2.25 to 2.5 inches wide. I could be totally wrong about this so someone school me if i'm wrong.

btw, saltfish had the time to stop by and see me at my dealership and the hi flo cats on a stock exhaust system make his car sound like the M3's at higher RPM's... I definitely feel a difference in the mid-higher rpm's.
