Your running the injen cai that runs down toward the floor correct? If so its very possible. Dont bring it to infiniti till you know for sure.

Is your MAF sensor getting wet somehow? Or possibly just loose? Thats what it sounds like to me.

^ +1 Make sure all connections are secure.

I highly doubt it's hydrolocking. Your car wouldn't start/run/move at all. Which is the "locking" part of the word "hydrolocking"

Yeah I figured it wasent hydrolocking because you caint move at all if it was. Just letting him know it is very possible especially with INJEN'S CAI.

But then also thought that he might have been on the verge of hydrolocking, totally forgot about MAF sensor.

i spoke with my mechanic and he sed that the sensors might have gotten wet too. so im going to buy some hydrosheilds. Do you think that would solve the issues of the sensor getting wet or water entering the intake system

Yeah you can get some Hydroshields to prevent any possibility of your sensors getting wet.

so if it is the sensor and i let the throttle body dry and dry the sensors, do u think there is any engine damage? It start well and no funny noises and revs now but havent driven it yet because dont have the shields and its suppose to rain the rest of the week. Any suggestions for those that have the intake?
