With the possible fitment issue, I might be leaning towards HKS but from the videos I kinda like the MXP tone more. Then again, videos doesn't do justice and unfortunately there aren't very much active G37s in forum around my area with these exhausts for me to hear in person. Decisions...Decisions...
Having heard both, I'd pick the MXP over HKS. I don't think you'd have an issue with fitment if you're 6MT.

Boo for me! I stuck with 5AT because I didn't want to deal with driving 6MT on these steep hills in Seattle.

Guess I'll wait and see what comes out of the MXP fix on Richie's exhaust.

people who didn't pre-order don't obviously have to have the exhaust today.. and Mackin will fix the fitment issue..

I do wish you best of luck with them remedying your situation.
If the production fits 6mt like the proto, then you will have no problem w/ the tips sitting uneven.

Mackin should have a 6MT G37 come in to swap the exhaust onto that and see if fitment checks out fine so that we know whether it's AT driveshaft/diff specific issue.

Is it possible that btwn promo and production there came about a change in the build that causes fitment issue in general? Its hard to say until someone with a 6MT does an install....

Jeff in Michigan is installing the 3rd MXP right now as Im posting this. His was the one from Forged. And his is AUTO! Mine is the only one so far being fit onto an MT. Hopefully I will find out soon whether his install goes well fitment and tip wise.

uuuugghh this sucks, so will Mackin now take back all the AT setups out there before their shipped and correct them ? this is going to add a ton of wait time i would think unless they just ship out a seperate part that corrects the problem with the current systems that are at the vendors. If i have to wait months more i might just grab an HKS, this wait has sucked as it is and now this

I just hope they don't stop all production...I'm tired of waiting. Atleast ship out for 6mt.
