There isn't a need.. but if you were in a seriously dusty area, or thinking about turning your G37 into a submarine, K&N also has pre-filters which are water resistant. But it will cost you horsepower, just like the hydroshields. Just contact us upon purchase and we'd be happy to set you up with the pre-filters.

Don't people realize that the splash shield supplief by stillen is more thab sufficient??? Raul is running without any shields and he's fine.
