installed gtm test pipes, and i have a problem

So as the title says, i installed the test pipes. I installed them at advan auto, a reputable shop in brooklyn, and everything went well until we revved the car up. So when its decelerating from revving, at around 1800-2000 rpms it makes a rattle, and it is not the normal noise that sounds like air is escaping. It is actually a rattle, and is not enjoyable, and even when i am driving in the higher rpms i can here the rattle. I contacted GTM and brandon said, it was normal and that test pipes make louder noises. My mechanic was like this is not normal. We looked at the exhaust ant pipes on the lift, and the rattle noise seems like its coming from the beginning of the x-pipe, but before i put my test pipes on my exhaust was fine. Also, GTM said that they want the test pipes back, but i broke the top bolts for the cats while putting on the exhaust. Please someone help me!!!!

Could be the x-pipe rattling due to it vibrating against the brace under the car.. My magnaflow did that (without test pipes)

My exhaust rattles too at around 1k rpms. If I'm at a standstill and I rev my car with the windows up, my plastic panels in the cabin will rattle too.

1 thing you can do to help is wrap the test pipes with heat wrap. should help get rid of some rattle/rasp.

There is really nothing in test pipes which can rattle. They are only hollow tubes.

If there are no loose bolts on the pipes themselves (especially the top outside bolts at the headers which are near impossible to tighten all the way) are you sure they are not contacting anything underneath the car?
