hey Trese7en, how would you describe the sound of the intakes during mild and moderate acceleration? is it close to stock? or its always audible?

I know its nice and loud during WOT, but its interesting to know during the times when you just wanna cruise and not feeling rowdy.

Thanks.

oh yeah, any chance for drive by vids? :P

^ I would say it's almost like stock during mild driving since the rpm would be <3.5k , wouldn't really able to tell the difference . . . as for a video clip I've installed test pipes and tanabe recently so you would hear them all together, so if you want I'll make some of those

Those heat shields don't look like much, do they work? The Injen and Stillen intakes look like they have much more effective heat shields, but man the Takeda looks sweet, looks better than the other two. I'm getting one of these 3 but can't decide. Takeda looks the best, but Stillen looks like it has the best heat shields. Also what kind of filter does Takeda use, Stillen having to be oiled is a pain from what I've heard.
