Surrrrisly.. But even after all my ranting SE did the right thing..I wont be buying their intake anytime soon but it speaks highly of them as a company...

 

I've been holding off on responding to this, but now that SE has made a response I'd just like to say I think they handled this very well and professionally, especially after 11+ pages of complete and unnecessary nonsense. Now DrJones may not want to buy from SE again, but it shouldn't stop other members from doing. They still make great products and need all the support they can get building a quality reputation. Now that things have been taken care of there's really no need for this thread to be open anymore and i just think it'd be a wise choice to close it up and call it done.

 

TimsG37.... what would you have me do. Fly to Cali and burn down their shop? Start an online war against them? I got my $799 back + $50 discount on a future product.... most likely something in Carbon Fiber. Rear Valance or Engine Cover? If anything most of the folks here know that SE has a good reputation for Carbon Fiber pieces.

I agree... but if it was carbon fiber pipes for $800 then I would be all over that.

Thats kinda crossing the line i think. If i sold a product to someone that was defective, yes i'll take it back, pay any shipping fees, and even apologize greatly. I don't think i am obligate to GIVE the person money just because i offended them, however.

Status Elite did go that little bit extra, and provided him with a $50 dollar coupon for next time.


DrJones, glad you got everything resolved.. and Status Elite does make some awesome stuff like the newly released diffuser that you can use your coupon on.

yea.... thats what im talking about.. for 20k it better come with auto wiping.

 

I wouldnt mind replacing that with my sport seat lol I do long drives every now and then and those could come in handy haha
