finally putting on my hfc??

so im at the muffler shop because I thought the install would be to much for me. For those wondering I have a magnaflow cat-back and em putting on fast intentions hfc with non foulers. My question is they didnt reset my ecu.Should I do this once I get home??

Nah you wont lose any power. Your car will adjust on it's own No problem.

I reset mine but that's mainly because of habit. The inifiniti tech told me that the ECU will "learn" the HFCs in a thousand miles or so. I figured wouldn't hurt to do the reset and it's pretty easy via the method outlined here:

you never know if resetting or not will be faster. so i just leave it alone.

yeah I decided to leave it alone and not reset it. It's been about two days so far and the car is slowly starting to feel a little bit more power. Only thing is I knew I was suppose to expect that infamous rasp noise in the 2k rpm range, but I also hear it at WOT above 4k. It sounds like a hissing noise is that normal?
