yup everyone will say Fi over borla. you just have to listen to sound clips and see what you like the most.

i'll take a video later, but i had hfcs installed and it sounds pretty deep... it's only raspy on engine start if you go WOT, but after the engine warms up there is no rasp... or at least i can't hear any. and +1 on what solo said, you gotta listen to clips and decide for yourself.

here is borla with stock cats:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KCTU3YqgG_Y&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KCTU3YqgG_Y&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

that's true... aren't there a lot of people in ny that have either of these? you could ask them to listen in person

yeah agree, you have to ask around. I personally just chose the one that most people got and looks since no one in baton rouge actually mod there G so i couldnt test listen to any in person. i also think FI makes the most power but that just my opinion

So, I am assuming by this thread that you created that you don't want me to proceed with your order. Please let me know because if you don't want the system I will give it to the next guy in line behind you that is on order...

Thanks, Tony

i dont think people get exhaust systems just for power gains (could be wrong) but more for looks. if i remember correctly borla make more power but FI makes good gains also, that being said how much of a difference is a few HP gunna be. just got my CF FI yesterday and it looks amazing (thanks Tony) IMO go for the looks and get the FI, but in the end its ur decision and you cant go wrong with either, good luck.

lol you keep talking that borla made more gains sounding like it made 20 whp more.. whats the difference, 2-3 HP? You won't even feel them on a car as heavy as our G's trust me.. FI sounds way sexier I've heard both of them in person.. the deepness of the FI is just orgasmic especially when you been driving for an hour and the pipes are hot.. oh my, and lets not talk start talking about down shifts ooooo my.. f it, I'm going for a spin lol

P.S. have you seen borla vs. FI mounted, you'd have to be blind to go for borla haha (no offence Aliiin)

I currently have Borla and it's way too raspy for my liking, so I had to get 2 12" resonators welded in to subtle the rasp. It worked, but for the money I spent, I could have gone with HKS or even a couple of the imported exhausts. I'm going to end up going with FI stainless rounds in the next couple days.
