There seems to be some confusion here. Running lean is NOT a good thing, nor is running rich. In both cases (rich or lean) your not producing as much power as you could if you were running the correct A/F ratio (ideal is 14.7).

If your increasing air, you increase fuel to match = bigger explosion = more power.

People with mods will tell you that their MPG went down, the reason is they need more fuel to match the amount of air they are now bringing in (that coupled with hammering the gas more often to enjoy the mods).

So i shouldnt get an intake?

That's why i use "search"...

So far you have had the best info..

There are just soo many dam opinions, i cant decifer whats people's opinion and what is actually facts...

Either way, i am getting Injen and not tuning, so i will let you know if it damages your engine...
