Berk HFC CEL Solution?
Berk HFC CEL Solution?
i read the whole thread here....https://www.myg37.com/forums/intake-...-cel-poll.html
and was wondering for those who had BERK HFC with CEL, how did u get rid of the CEL. i have berk HFC for about a year and half and just recently got the CEL about a few weeks ago. i have codes from autozone P0420 and P0430. Could the 02 sensor wear and tear because of usage and throw the code? thank for your help.

have other people done it and worked? any negative effects?
There are no ill effects from having the P0420 & P0430 CEL light. But first you need to get those codes read to find out what they are. We've wrestled with codes on another customers car that turned out to be a leak on the intake kit, but was throwing codes for the BERK HFC's.
Shoot us an email and we'll be glad to help you out!

If so, you should try the steel wool trick or an ECU reset. The scantool at Autozone can clear all the ECU data for you and reset you ECU back to baseline.
About the non-foulers, our HFC's already have a built in non-fouler. That is one of the many reasons why we have such a low CEL rate compared to our competition.
If you don't know where to get the steel wool shoot me an email. bryan (at) berktechnology (dot) com.
