search for videos by the user Peterbanks. He has some good Tanabe videos.

I think Tanabe will give you exactly what you're looking for. It is NOT close to stock at all.

lol i love the posts that ask how to make a g sound like a ferrari. each car is unique and im more than happy with the 37 exhaust. my old 35 was retarded loud so its nice to be able to cruise low key this time around.

lol thread from the dead.

i'd go tanabe. i just go them installed three weeks ago and it's great. loud enough to be noticed, but not to the point where it annoys you on your daily drive. my only gripe would be that it can get too loud when you're going up a hill at 1000-2500 rpm (at least for my taste), but that's to be expected. for normal cruising, it's not loud at all.

of course if you slap on an intake, that might change. ucla_bruin just put in an injen intake and he says he notices the exhaust got louder.

How would the HKS be compared to the Tanabe?? I heard a HKS, it sounds pretty quiet in normal driving.

HKS sound is unique all by itself. While many exhaust companies all sound good, have a clean sound, the HKS has a unique sound close to that of a exotic car. Its pretty mellow at idle and at WOT it really has a deep sound clean.
