Looking at getting an intake. I really like the Stillen Gen 3. and the gains it gives, I just don't know about cutting holes under the hood. Are those holes ever filled? How large are they? Would they be noticeable when I put the stocks back in.

If I decide not to get the Gen 3, should I go with the Gen 2 even though it's not a "true" cold air intake. How's the sound and gains? Are there any other good intakes out there?

Does anyone have a pic of the holes under the hood? If you put the stock ones back in, are the holes still noticeable?

 

I can take a pic tomorrow for you... I put stockies back on and nothing is noticeable unless you remove the black plastic radiator cover.

Your not really cutting brand new holes, its more like expanding the current holes to fit the diameter of the piping. if you do a good job, its barely noticeable.

the left side of the hole is cut, and kind of the bottom. So i only assume that the hole was there already, just not as big as it needs to be.
