Will Stillen Gen3 Intake Void Warranty?

Or any intake for that matter. I'm asking because a friend of mine asked a Nissan dealer if the presence of the intake would void the warranty and they said 100% yes, unless it's a Nissan part. Now I was under the understanding that in order for them to void your warranty, there has to be some form of damage and they have to prove it was caused by your mod or aftermarket accessory.

well it will void your warranty for that part... because you're not using OEM intakes anymore...

but yes it has to be proven it made another part fail if they're going to void your warranty... i forgot what act or whatever it was that enabled this

ok yes it will but only on your seatbelts and rubbermats on the 3rd tuesday of every other month. As well it will cause the window to wear quicker and thin out. This means that the right rear breaks will not be covered under warranty.

dear god people do some fucking searching

but im almost positive, if something goes wrong with that part bc of ur stillen, they would still be happy as well because they wont be fixing it.

im jk, i dk.

But yeah, only if a problem evolves around the intakes.

it all comes down to whether or not something fails due to the part being installed.

I just talked to the service manager this week. He told me if I installed them, it would void the warrenty on whats directly affected by it. like the air sensors for the intake. thats it. plus he said they would have to prove (not me) that the aftermarket product caused the problem. I am sure it very's from dealership to dealership. but here are some laws in place to protect us.

I would call around to other dealerships in your area (infiniti) and ask there service dept the same question.
