I think he was just merely joining the sarcasm/ridicule of the illegality of the Injen Intake, don't need to jump to conclusions, bud.

I concluded that he feels "all cops r a$$hole" because he wrote "all cops r a$$hole". What conclusion did you draw from that? Maybe I misconstrued his meaning?

Since I don't know anything about modding, what does the injen intake do and why is it illegal?

Some aftermarket intakes are illegal.... Why? Not really sure. As for the ticket, I think it would just be an equipment violation. Nothing serious.

CA is probably the worst for tickets like this from what I hear.

Friend of mine got pulled over out here in Cali, cop asked him to pop hood and spotted the JWT's intakes. Of course he didn't know what it was, but the cop mentioned to him something about being CARB cerified or something?

Cops check tint here.....But lucky for me I have Florida tags in TX so they dont even bother. They would have to know the laws in Fl in order to ticket me, and my **** is illegal in Fl too.

Aftermarket parts are not illegal. WTF? My husband has been pulled over plenty of times in his Camaro while racing and w/ lots of mods and has never been ticketed in Florida and Texas.

Parts that f*** up emissions or are extremely loud are illegal. HFC's & LT headers are illegal.
