Exclamation People with Stillen HFC

Do you guys have issue with CEL? If so, after how long of the installation did the CEL come on? What did you do with the issue?

I think that Stillen should take back all the Hfc that they sold, The reason most G owners are willing to spend so much is to avoid the cel. It defeats the purpose of paying so much for a Hfc if the cel still comes on, might as well just go to a muffler shop and do a straight pipe for $85-125 instead of paying $600+. I was considering hfc for my car but was very skeptical about the cel. for obd1 cars its not an issue but for any 0bd2 cars, its a real pain. Just my opinion

In the name of performance the 10-12whp you gain from HFC's is tough to beat. HFC's make more power than all of the $1400+ exhausts.

For those of you with STOCK cats, ~98% of you will be CEL free. Those of you with HFC's, ~95% of you will be CEL free.

The only 100% way to avoid a P0420 & P0430 CEL is an electronic O2 simulator. However, nobody will make these anymore because they are highly illegal. The EPA fined Casper electronics $125,000 for the sale and manufacture of these devices in the late 90's. That's enough to scare anyone away.

So pretty much there is no option to get rid of CEL w.o. o2 simulator? because non fouler did not make 100% get rid of CEL...
