A lot of people on here say the magnaflow is made cheap and a lot say they are happy with it. But for most power...borla is the one I believe.
really? so why arent more people running borla?

cause not everyone wants only the most performance...some people will sacrafice a couple hp for the sound or look that they prefer. Personally i love a deep sounding exhaust like the Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber. The Borla is a little bit more raspy...but i like the borla for the reason that it puts down alot of power.

Heres the thread of a borla dyno:

Magnaflow FTW, I love mine, sounds awesome, gives solid HP/TQ gains, and cost me under $500, talk about a win, win, win!!! BTW, I just went under the car last night to check for any leaks and ensure all my clamps were still snug, sucker was as tight and leakfree as the day I put it on, I don't think this setup is going to leak down the road, the clamps on this setup are different from past Magnaflow ones, seems leak issues have been addressed nicely by Magnaflow. But hey this is all JMHO, I'm an OBV. Magnaflow fanboy now, LOL!!

Borla isn't cheap. Most places are selling it for around $1500. Whereas the Magnaflow is considerably less then that. I love mine and I wouldn't have any other exhaust. It can be had for less then $1200 at the following link. Thats where I got mine and I love it.

lol when you're spending $1200 on exhaust, another $300 really isnt that much. i bought an injen for my 35 back in 05 for around $900 and i still think thats overdoing it on these cars. oh well.

Definitely check out the FI before you make a final decision.

Consider it like this. Spending $1200 saves you $300 that can be applied to some pop chargers. It's like 2 for 1 unless you like spending more money for the same product elsewhere.

I would say that FI would have been my second choice. I love the Borla, but FI ranks up there for me too.

I have a Greddy with the Exhaust depot Ypipe, I didnt do my research before purchasing, the Greddy is a great exhaust, nice loud sound if you take off the silencer, the only thing that was kind of dissapointing is that it wasnt a real catback, of course I solved that problem with my y pipe from exhaust depot, but then again, it set me back another $285 for the Ypipe on top of $750 for the Greddy, so Im at over $1000 for my exhaust, at $1000 Im pretty sure there are many alternatives. I would say, if attention and noise is your first concern, I would do the Greddy. But if you want Power without the really loud rumble, do another brand.
