I think the Magnaflow is great for the price especially if you are looking to get rid of the buzzing noise that the stock exhaust gives especially if you have HFCs. A cheap way to fix that problem and increase performance. I do think there are better exhaust out there but they do cost more.

 

couple of owners on the site have told me it does have drone.. and magnaflow in general is known to have some drone..

Does any1 kno the wieght of each exhaust listed? IS FI CF really that much of a difference in weight if so, i would consider that over HKS..

the weights are listed in the vendor thread.. and even if weight isnt an issue FI still wins hands down.. IMO

I just installed the greddy Ti C dual exhaust on my G37. I really like the way they sound with the silencer off. It really sounds bad azzz, like a freekin redneck muscle car, lol. If you go to the greddy website, they actually have a clip of the Ti C exhaust on a 350z and trust me, the G37 with the silencer off sounds very very similiar, make sure your speaker system consists of a subwoofer to hear the deep sound of the exhaust. If you put the silencers on, it sounds 20% louder than stock exhaust with a minor hum to it. but yeah, go to the greddy website and hear the 350z clip.

 

borla has most gains... and it's sound is impressive imo, so why not get the borla

 

a local distributor is charging me $2580 for HKS catback with Titanium tips!! I got magnaflow shipped for only $800.. is the difference in power and sound worth the 3 times price differnce??

Sound...maybe, but that is up to you. Power...I would say no since they don't have a dyno out for the thing and it is all speculation. I would say that the HKS exhaust losses power so stick with stock. Step your game up HKS and release some more info. How hard is it to get a dyno? I speculate that the exhaust is crappy and doesn't work as good as their old stuff and they don't want the same thing to happen to their product. All you HKS fanboys, instead of flaming me for this comment, call up HKS and have them do a dyno or post a link to a dyno. I bet you get the "we are to good for dynos and our name speaks for itself" line.

But for the money the FI is the best choice on that list.

 

I dont even want a HKS dyno, itll be bull**** like all the other company dynos. If you got 2400 to drop on ax exhaust get your *** on the dyno rich boys.

LMAO...yes it is. All I want is a company dyno and then some third party dynos. Is that to much to ask?

Someone needs to email HKS and tell them people are talking trash (me) about their product because they cannot release a stupid dyno.

 

I am sure there will be some indy dynos soon. Several people have bought this exhaust so it cant be long.
