JWT review **coming from fujitas**

Well i figured i would chime in since there has been tons of talk wether intakes are worth it on our cars, ect ect.. When i purchased my fujita intake i did it for sound not expecting to gain anything.. Although on a cold night with them not being heat soaked it indeed made a difference.. After driving around for a while with JWTs on hot summer days, i have never felt a time where my car felt sluggish and i have yet to be disappointed in these. Also the sound is more consistent than the fujitas.. There is always a growl no matter where the tach is compared to the fujitas only sounded loud at certain points in the RPM band. These things may not be the prettiest thing installed but they sure do get the job done..

Filter Lab Test Results For Review

Attached are lab test results for the JWT and Fujita.

Make certain you are thoroughly cleaning these products regularly. Be very careful with oiling. Read the warning labels and follow the instructions. The cleaner/oil can be hazardous. It also has a negative impact on the engine management system.

See: * Avoid using oiled cotton gauze or foam filter products in any Nissan/Infiniti application.

The bad thing about our cars is you cant push too much air to it with an intake... cause the ECU will just shut it down... I dont think the air flow is a big deal unless your getting a Tune done to correct the ECU corrections... This have been proven by a couple companies...

Air Volume

There is only so much air volume this air pump can effectively consume within the normal operating band. Modifications certainly can have an impact on this required volume.

The real concern is what these filters allow to pass through while they become restrictive. As loading occurs, these particles migrate. Dust holding ability is the key to engine protection.

Why sacrifice the main reason the filter exists in the first place? Performance filtration has been all about compromise. Eliminate the necessity to compromise when compared to existing products. Take advantage of a new, patented and proprietary technology. Low restriction and unmatched engine protection is available. If you choose to keep the existing aftermarket tubes, retrofit them with a true performance filter.

Have a nice weekend!
