The sound of it reminds me of the Borla setup. Yes it does sound a little raspy too. I still think I would take the HKS over this, but Invidia is a sick company nonetheless.

I think it sounds totally different than Borla. Borla sounds great, but this is a totally different sound IMHO.

Honestly guys, they all sound the same on youtube. Im sorry, but like if I blindfolded anybody on this site and played exhaust clips, your *** would be telling me HKS is Greddy and Stillen is borla. In person they are very different, not on the internet. **** soundclips!

i had a 05 G35C that was done up...lot of research on everything....i jsut hated the rasping unnecessary sound....

 

EXACTLY why I added resonators to my setup. I think the main reason for the rasp was because of the strup headers. The exhaust sounds deep until you add test pipes or headers then it starts making the exhaust sound tinny and high pitched.

 

The N1 is the LOUD one. The G200 with the "H" is is very mellow at idle and really bellows at WOT. My system has Crawford headers and cats, and there is no rasp and no drone. I really have no idea what you are talking about
