Everyone also needs to understand that he conducted this dyno test using the Mustang Dyno which will read lower numbers than other dyno machine.

It's understandable that people are a little PO having to wait and not be get any numbers but I think all the animosity towards the OP is a little uncalled for. Everybody hugs.

I have to go back to what AEM and Cobb both said about this car and intakes.....which has already been posted so I am not going to re-hash that; do a search.

If you want cool looks and the great sound, you should be happy regardless of the results. If you want power and sound coming out the other end, spend the same amount of money on get the HFCs....which, for a proven fact, will make HP and noise.

I am still up in the air on the whole intake thing but the initial post by PMS was enough to shy my away...and so far nothing has come forward to make me regret that decision.

Now, as for Injen, they do say "up to 14" which I think gives them the legal out as it were....which sucks if these prove to be worthless for "most" applications.

I think this will whole thing will prove to be a lesson learned in jumping in before all the facts are on the table....which many fine posters brought up before, during, and after this all started.

We still have to thank these folks for at least using their time, money, and cars to get these dynos done, regardless of the end results and how upset it may make folks.

So I am going back to the bench and will await the results of the JWT on Friday.

While this is 100% true, it makes no difference, what matters is before and after.

I don't appreciate the insinuation that someone "got to me" and asked me not to post my results. For the record, I did speak with Lou yesterday and told him my results, but the conversation was mainly about my Volks and my shift **** drama. I was not told to not post my results - I decided that myself.

In any case, since certain other people are TELLING me to do things, I am now choosing to not post my results at all, including the ones tomorrow night. People that have asked me nicely will be PMed my numbers, as well as
the ones tomorrow night. I spent my own time and money to do these tests, and restrained myself from installing all my other pieces so I could get a clear answer for myself - so if you can't wait for me to provide numbers, then run your own test.
I wasnt talkin about Lou... but now that he knows... ill just ask him...

I see no reason why this thread should be locked. When someone shows the moderating team a reason it should, we will. Feel free to delete if you want too. You have the option to delete yourself, but wouldn't that be kinda cowardly.

Regardless if you were asked not to post or not... That's not the thing that is pissing everyone off. People have purchased this product and come here to the forums for information. Per starting this thread, you were going to give it, but for some reason (ummm... likely ****ty results) you are not posting. Why tease people, bro? Sounds childish to me.

Wow... You sure are leaving this thread on a good note. Kinda like breaking up with a girlfriend by calling her a bitch. What good does it do to make rash decisions just because you are pissed off.

At least we know who NOT to come to for advice or the responses to blow off... YOURS!

Sorry bro, but the FAIL award goes to you in this case!!! I was hoping to give it to Injen, but I can't.

Catch!!!

herrjr, please reconsider on posting the numbers, that'd make people shift their focus to Injen's performance which is what everyone's after.

Going out of subject a bit, i ordered these intakes should be getting them in few days the only worry i have is them overheating the engine now. Does anybody know anything about this, the thread starter claimed they get very hot. And i am in canada it rains hard here in summer lol and these intakes look pretty low.

if they get pretty hot do you think they will affect the engine by any chance, do you believe it would make the engine heat up?
