whats your intake on the intake!

so for a first mod i am think of changing my inake.
i ahve read up and see that Injen is one of the best...... but i also see the fujita intake for sale at about $300. my question is, is it worth paying double for the injen intake?

imo, it will not be worth it. get the jwt intake for probably half the price of an injen intake. you will see very little gains if you are deciding to add other mods to the injen, not worth the 550 or whatever its worth.

I don't think anyone has dyno'd yet, but the K&N filters with stock air box might show the best gains for our car if you account for heat soak.

If you're going to get an intake make sure you get JWT or one with heat shields. I see no reason to spend the extra money on Stillen, JWT always makes great products. As far as HP gains, some say they notice, I say it's doubtful. The car will roar much louder during WOT than stock but that is about all. Stick with JWT, spend the extra money Fujitas have no heat shield.
