Stillen headers cat back and cold intakes

I'm considering the cold intakes, headers and cat back from Stillen and was wondering if anyone has done all three yet - and might have posted a clip on youtube. Thanks!

Ive heard people not talk to highly about Stillen intakes but could be wrong. Check out JWT and Injen. This is all opinion though

There is a guy on here who is doing all Stillen mods. Don't remember who though. Hopefully he will chime in here.

I have a the Stillen long tube intake system and the headers on my car.. However I have an HKS exhaust system. The intake system is awesome.. It fit great and gives a narly sound about 3,000 rpms. Also the intake is designed with boxes so the filters are completely shielded from the hot air from the engine.. I'm very happy with all the STILLEN parts on my car and I have quite a few of them

If you're looking to get any decent gains with this set-up, I wouldn't go with the stillen intakes. There's a lot of reviews reporting loss of power. I would wait definitely wait for injen or even jwt. I think stillen did what all of the other companies that released intake systems early. They just rushed out a product so that they can get a quick jump on the competition instead of taking the time to do quality R&D.

Didn't someone have a thread on here showing a 10hp gain on a private dyno with stillen intakes??? Please some help me out, I know I saw this awhile back, before everyone jumped on the Injen bandwagon! I love my Stillen headers and cat-back. Great products!!!

I completely agree with you AZG37 there has been private dynos that prove it.. Everyone still thinks the Fujita intakes sucks, but they had a guy do a proven dyno on them. And proivded I believe 9 hp gains constantly even when "Heat Soak" occured as everybody likes to call it.. So there is no loss of power at all.. I believe it was Evildarkness that did the dynos. He did quite a few of them and they all showed increases so that's good enough for me. And let's not forget this is just a $300 intake system mod. How much power do you actually expect to get by changing out two pieces of piping and two filters????? Go STILLEN!!!!!!

AZG37, do you have any b4 and after vids with sounds for the headers and catback? How is the sound level at highway speed? I like the fact that the G37 is quiet at cruise speeds. Thanks!

Never dyno'd, but I love my stillen intake system. I understand it's probably the same as the fujita, but the airboxes give me piece of mind, and in theory should work. I don't see what any other intake sytem could offer that would be superior to the Stillen.

How many different ways can you configure a pipe, MAF and a big air sensor. In the end, they're all the same.

I don't have before vids but I do have after ones. Cruising speeds are pretty quiet, unless you are on faster speed limit highways. When I cruise at 80 to 85 mph the RPM's creep into the louder range for the exhaust. but at normal driving speeds it is perfect. And just an FYI, I got the Fujita intake installed with before and after dyno's showing a 8HP and 8 ft-lbs gain. I'll try and get the results posted up on the forum later this weekend. Fujita's arn't crap, they produce numbers. I think this proves intakes arn't zero HP/TQ gainers and most intakes are worthy... not just Injen

I haven't dyno'd either, but I have the Stillen dual long tube CAIs.
I definitely noticed no loss of power at slower speeds, and a small but definite incease at higher RPMs. I also like the fact that the intakes are positioned higher than others (less chance of water lock), and no taking off the bumper just to change or check the filters.
Everyone has their own opinion, but I'm happy with my Stillen.

I have Stillen intakes, exhaust, HFC's and sway bars. I have no complaints at all. My car has much more power now. I don't dyno my car I just go by feel. I still may swap my Stillen short intakes for the new Injen ones.....just for fun and just to see the difference.

JKS toy...can you please tell me how your headers sound and perform. I want to add Stillen headers next...thanks!

the Stillen headers are great! They add to the growl just a touch and provide nice gains. I felt a difference, plus they look sick when you are looking in the engine bay. I'm happy with them
