[QUOTE=ucla bruin;2350912]^explain? Does Tanabe use magnaflow?

Tanabe uses in house brand of mufflers, not magnaflow. db rating will is not be the same as the magnaflow mufflers since they are completely different inside and out. People that have the Tanabe exhaust can fight fix it /ref tickets since these are rated at 92db which is considered street legal. Basically, aside from how the exhaust looks, (polished all the way through and the quality of the muffler and tips), if end user decides it's not important to have a street legal system, this would be choice. But if im going with something louder, The Greddy or the FI exhaust makes more sense to me. Again, i've always believed in the quote "you get what you pay for"

I have the Tanabe on my G37, i love the deep tone but basically not loud at all but no means sounding like the stock muffler. It just give it character. (my 2 cents)

I am getting really interested in this setup, especially with this price. I was really leaning towards the tanabe but am starting to like this one. There are just two concerns i have. 1. this my just be the pics, but the tips on this setup didn't look that great. they just didn't seam to have the shine like tanabe, then again better pictures would help. and 2. How loud is it? I had a really loud exhaust on my last car and dont want that again. Is it comperable in db's to the tanabe setup?

In the last pic the right tip looks smaller for some reason, maybe the angle the pic was taken at. Needs to be shinier too lol

They stick out a bit more than stock and tanabe, but they do look a bit smaller.

Thanks for the vids. Surprisingly quiet, considering how small those mufflers are.

No problem for the video guys. I shot them on the way to work, on lunch in the parking lot and on the way home from a vendor dinner. I was trying to get it done so you didn't have to wait.
