New OEM Exhaust Today + Special Bonus!

Got my replacement exhaust installed today, drove home heard some strange sounds and felt a slight vibration. Looked under the car at the house an saw this:

Seems the tech forgot his Pry Bar.

It wasn't going anywhere, it was wedged between the spring and the A arm.

After I took the pics I called the dealership and told them what I found. They asked me to come down so they could make sure everything was ok. They let me watch as they put the car up and inspected it. It was all good. I did have them notate it, just in case of future problems.

They left the pry bar in there for free... Actually it was all warranty work. I had the exhaust rattle.

How did you get the exhaust replaced with aftermarket Cats ? I would think dealers would have a field day with that... lol

They didn't say anything about them. I have to say I've really been impressed with them, minus the leaving of random tools in your car.

I'm fairly certain they know, as this was the second visit to install the exhaust which they had to order. They checked the car the first time to determine where the noise was coming from. They seem to be a mod friendly dealership.

Yeah they replaced my muffler as well with HFCs. the only part of your warranty that is affected by HFCs is emmissions.

The muffler issue is so well documented as well that there is no way that they can justify denying warranty work on it.
