It is on the Greddy site at the same size. It is priced at $895... I wonder what retailer prices will be... group buys as well. Maybe we should start a new thread for the GReddy exhaust to clear up confusion...

It may be mid pipe or y-pipe back (?)
Yeah, it looks like it's from the mid pipe back.

Ya the Tanabe set up is quite simple. You could probably switch out your old muffle rfor the new one yourself without any issues.
If you take a look up under the rear of your car, you will see where the mufflers would connect and could reach it pretty much without even lifting the car up. The 4WAS system would be a couple of feet forward of that location.

Yup, that's about as simple as it gets. I'm surprised that they can keep noise levels down using those little mufflers. They don't even have those removable silencers.

It looks like they are using some sort of special high grade muffler packing materials.

I love the tips on them and how it looks tucked up under the car.

Regarding silencers, I am thinking about getting Apexi active tail silencers. I have HFCs and right now I can hear the stock mufflers when cruising at 75+ MPH when under slight load. The Apexi's will hopefully keep it quieter until I go WOT. Hopefully they will fit or I mad have to modify the end of the Apexi piping since the Tanabe's are slightly angled behind the tips.

Kahboom, any updates? Did you finally receive the Tanabe exhaust and install it?

not yet. Andy from HP autoworks said that the exhausts were supposed to have arrived last week but Tanabe Japan was a bit slow on shipping them out.
On Monday he indicated that they were on the boat on their way to the US.
