FI Exhaust Installed

FI exhaust installed tonight. 3 hours, 100% solo, with just ramps in the rear. Getting the center section in by myself was the only pain, damn that Magnaflow x-pipe/resonator is HEAVY.

There are plenty of install pics in other threads, so need to duplicate that, plus I suck at posting pics. 1st drive tomorrow.

The original round ones. Oversized, tinted tips do nothing for me and make the car look cheap.

He probably went with the 4" tips. When speaking to them he told me that I couldn't get the 4 1/2" tips because I am not having them installed at Fast Intentions.. He updated the post stating (For those who are wanting the 4 1/2" tips you must have them installed at fast intentions at there NorthRidge facility. No 4 1/2" national orders currently). I ordered mine on Feb. 25th.

N A M yes, I asked them why also and they told me that there shop has to do it because they have a special jig that they have to put the tips on. In my opinion they should be a perfect fit not matter what. So I would make sure about your 4 1/2" tips. Look on the post. THM updated it after speaking with them through im. Thats why I found out.

After driving with the FI exhaust for several days, I like it. It is not loud (I was hoping for that, because the HFC's go on next), and has an exceptionally nice tone.

I was just out scoping the engine bay getting ready to do the HFC's. How the hell are you supposed to reach anything on the drivers side? It's tight, but doable on the passenger side, but the drivers side looks like a bitch. Any tips from those that have done it?

i think that everyone's opinion is that they should be a perfect fit no matter what.

THM didn't update their post it til after i had already placed my order with them on the phone, which it wasn't brought to my attention at that time either.

anyway, i got things squared off with Eddie at THM...hopefully i get what i ordered..my biggest complaint with FI was the small tips
