There are so many threads about the fujita intakes. They are worth the money to me and others. Read other's opinions on them from the 100 other threads.
Looks like there are more cons than pros. There's not really any power increase (some said it seemed like power decreased.) Its only really for looks and sound
As wath many aftermarket intakes, you lose a bit on the low end. You may gain some on the high end but I am not sure it is enough to compensate- maybe if you have a 6MT you can compensate by dropping the clutch from higher RPMs. Nevertheless, if sound improvements are what you are going for- it sounds great.
is it worth it now? Ya because there are really no other options out at the moment sans the stillen. Will they be worth it in say 2-3 months. Nope because there are so many intake in the works right now. Talking with my Top Secret rep in japan initial testing on their proto intake has netted 9hp. They have a few things they want to work out but they believe they will push it up to around 12-15hp for their intake. If you MUST have an intake right now sure buy the fujita. If you want to save yourself money and get the best. Wait
If I were you I wouldn't buy any aftermarket intake system since the stock is engineered to proven working in extreme condition. I'm not sure why people trying to reverse engineer things but intake is good example of wrong doing it.

Cheers
I couldn't disagree more. Although there isn't much gain, there is room for improvement...there always is. Now wether the extra 8-10hp is worth $300, is up to the vehicle owner. it's not a matter of "extreme conditions, any intake can handle "extreme conditions".
Not sure how this is "reverse engineering", and I am an automotive engineer...
I think the sound and small gains are worth the $300.
