Fujita Intake installed (too!)

Like finagle, I got the Fujita SR-2206 dual short ram intakes as well. I installed them this morning and here are some pics and a vid. Sorry about the quality, but my digicam is crappy and I didn't have anyone to hold my camera while I was revving the engine. You can take a look at finagle's thread for clearer pics and additional videos.

Note: I'm still in my break-in period (almost 500 miles now), so I kept the revs under 4K RPM.

you're denying youself the most pleasureable experience yet... you've GOT to take it up to 7krpms... at least just once.

lol i know, it's really killing me. On the flipside, I'm not too far away from that magical mileage. Only several more weeks and I should be there.

I feel a slight difference between 3500-4000 RPM. Although this is probably subjective. However, I can attest that the car is definitely louder.

Louder inside the car or outside? Is the engine louder or the exhaust or both?

It is louder both inside and out, even with the windows up and music turned on. As for the exhaust, I can't tell a difference so far.

nice. The Fujita Intake will definitely be one of my first mods. If I have the car.

How long did it take you to install?? And how easy/difficult was it?

If you're experienced under the hood, it shouldn't take you more than an hour. The removal/installation is very straight-forward.

Coool, i just got this intake yesterday. I came home and the bright orange box was sitting at my doorstep.

Turns out... it's gonna be a gift from a few of my friends for my bday... which is today! w00t! I got my friend to order it through a Fujita sponsor or something... and he made up some BS about how it wouldt get here till late next week and that i could pay pal the $ at that time. Hahah, sneeaky!

So now the intake is even sw33ter, cuz its free!

Anyway, i'm interested to know more about the installation as well. Any tips or suggestions any of you guys can tell us regarding this install? Anything to watch out for, or anything you would do diff if u could?

Kinda off topic... did anyone here replace the annoying yellow city light in the headlight housing? I hear u hafta remove air intake filter to get to this light. ??

Happy Birthday man. Good luck with the install.
When I get mine and it's install time. I shall ask you for the same advice/suggestions.

BTW, the Fujita pipings only come in chrome/mirror finish??
