Interior Rattling. GTA dealerships not acknowledging.

Hello folks,

My "G" has been driving me nearly insane with the rattling I'm getting from the interior.

I'm getting a rattling from the sunglasses holder, as well as a bit of a flexing sound from my moonroof, rattling from the 3rd brake light and a mysterious rattle from the passenger side.
The loudest of them all is the rattle from the sunglasses holder. I've narrowed it down to the locking mechanism.

Essentially, if I have my radio and climate control turned off any time I go over uneven pavement the I'll get noise from all 4 of those areas.

Has anyone been successful in getting any of these gremlins fixed by their dealership?

I've taken my car to Alta Woodbridge, and even after a test drive WITH the technicain, he said they were not substantial enough to do anything.
Willowdale Infiniti has stated they have never had any customers mention these issues.

Getting frustrated.

-Eric

For the sunglasses holder, you could try removing the whole assembly to see what's loose. Sometimes taking it apart and putting it back will make the rattling go away. Same goes for the 3rd brake light.

The mysterious passenger rattle could just be the seat belt buckle. That happened to me and it puzzled me for a while. Otherwise, your guess is as good as anybody's.

As for the sunroof... not sure what you can do about it.

is sunroof leaking?

what year is your g?
is sunroof leaking or broken seal?
or is the rattle coming from the sliding cover/sunroof liner?

Alta and markham Infiniti are nothing but crooks I got charged for a couple bolts that there mechanic stripped while servicing my CSC. Call Infiniti headoffice and have them book a rep to come down and look at your car at a dealership

^^ on the flip side .. i have had NOTHING but good experience with Alta ... and am sure (most) will agree on this !! I deal with Robert (Rob) in service and he's pretty sound with our cars plus he's one straight up guy. Won't misguide you on anything ....
