I posted this on the G35 board but thought I'd get a more balanced opinion by posting here as well ...

Hey SoCal Gs, I haven't been around here in a while. I have a 2003 G35 Coupe auto DG/B. Looks like my old pics on here are gone. My mods are 19" gunmetal volk sf winnings, ps2 slim in the glove compartment hooked up to nav screen, momo shift ****, aluminum pedals, pop charger/z-tube, tint.

It still drives well. I haven't had any problems with it. It looks brand new after a detailing. I'd like to keep it until the end of next year and then move up to a G37. But I've got some big expenses coming up that are making me consider the possibility of making the change now. In the next couple months, I am going to need new tires (I use Falken 452s), new brakes and my 60k service. I estimate these expenses at $3k.

So do you guys think I should look into getting a G37 before paying out this $3k or should I do the work and keep the car another year and a half? All input is appreciated.

 

being as ur upgrading anyways.. i'd go ahead and do it
if ur car is as mint as u say, then u'd get some good$$ back when u sell it.
g37 gogo plus u can keep ur old wheels maybe. and ur ps2. haha
