I've been looking at the update list too, and while there has been ONE exhaust shipped since the middle of Feb ordered date. (it doesn't show a shipped date) there are 14 more orders that have been paid in full, and 4 more that have paid the $500. and are in "the Que". I have no problem waiting or paying for quality products. I just wonder why it takes so long to put these things together. They are doing some great things from what I've read in posts with the dual turbo, they also have the best and most sought after high flo cats in the biz. I've seen quite a few peeps get quotes and confirm orders in group buys the last little bit. I wonder if they are getting their orders before we get our orders? The wait time seems to be less for a hfcat than a catback and that makes sense there is more to do on a full catback, but are the smaller jobs being jumped ahead of the larger ones? That kind of thing can happen pretty easy. I don't know if that is happening, but I don't think it's a good business plan if it is. I hope not. I ordered mine the middle of April, it would suck huge if some dude ordered a high flo cat in May and has it already. I've said it b4 I get weird ideas sometimes, if my logic is way off then ignore all after "I've been looking"
Lance posted this the first week in June

ANNOUNCEMENT - I have some GREAT NEWS! We have some catbacks going out that will be going out BEFORE the standard 12 week build time!

4. David(Scoobykim) >>>Shipping THIS FRIDAY! (06/07) 5. Damani(showme99) >>>Shipping NEXT FRIDAY! (06/14) 6. Brad(skylinetragic) >>>Scheduled to ship the 28th!

I looked at the list today and the only changes I saw was a scheduled installation.
Maybe they got shipped, I don't know, I hope so. I'm not trying to be a dic head It's just that I sent a lot of money to a guy I never met, and I would like to see some movement on the catback shipping list. I've seen ONE system shipped since I ordered mine in April that system was ordered 3 weeks before mine. The system before that one was ordered in Feb I don't know when it shipped, but there were only 2 orders in Feb and 2 in March. One has shipped the other has not. Now the scary thing is this.....there are 10 orders in April. If there was an issue filling two orders in March and not being able to build and ship two sets, how can they expect to fill ten orders in the same time it took to fill 1.5? Can I get some assurance that these orders will get done in time? And if they cannot what then?
Like I said before I'm not being a dic, but ????

i hope this calms you down a bit we're in the same boat!
some numbers:
person#4 sub'ed 3/25 shipped 6/7: 74days(10.5 weeks)
person#5 sub'ed 3/25 shipped 6/14: 81days(11.5 weeks)
person#6 sub'ed 4/05 shipped 6/28: 84days(12 weeks)

we're at about 68-69 days(9.7-9.9 weeks) in. If we were to follow this trend and interpolate, i would guess it would be done in about 24 more days; which really sucks because it was supposed to take 6-8 weeks as opposed to the normal 12-14 week wait (which is probably realistic about now) if we didnt order through lance (but we did).

i guess there's really nothing more we can really do except to wait patiently and pray for updates

Thanks for the reply Jujubii
lol I'm not upset......yet...lol
I just figure that because I can't just drive over to the shop a little gripe on here might help with my (irrational?lol) thoughts. I guess I've been on civie street too long and for got how to hurry up and wait. I just got looking at the list and well... I just wanted to be clear about the fact I'm not angry about this I don't mind waiting for quality and a bit of a discount, because EVERYTHING I have heard about F.I. is above excellence in the products the make. If I just wanted a loud car I could have gone to ebay and bought a used axle back muffler set for $300.00 bux. lol NOT!! Even though I don't know him, I think Lance is doing all he can on his end . The loyalty and respect people show him, he had to of earned it. I am a newbie to this car (last Nov) as well as this forum, and thanks to peeps like him and you I feel welcome. Even when I gripe...lol
cheers

Jeff - I want to clear this up for you, and everyone else that has the same questions/concerns.

All catbacks are estimated 11-12 weeks out from the actual order date. We quote this wait time to not overpromise and come up short having the exhaust take longer then quoted.

Me personally, I talk to Tony about 2-3 times weekly on average. (Last week was almost every single day). I try and keep you guys/gals updated as much as I possibly can without actually being at the shop myself.

HFCs/TPs have a wait time 3-4 weeks out. It is expected that they are much faster to ship since they don't take as many man hours to build. The shop has focused build days, which is a perfect example as to why I'm able to offer discounted pricing for "group buys". They aren't created like other group buys where people are trying to clear out inventory, the group buys I create for RHFCs is truly because it helps them cut down on man hours in the shop.

For exhausts, I'm truly trying my best to service the G community the best I can, with orders, questions and pricing. I'm extremely knowledgeable with first hand experience with the parts, as a customer, as well as a Vendor. The ONLY reason I'm able to offer special pricing, with some (if any) discounts, is 100% because I'm saving the shop time by servicing you all, questions, concerns, purchase orders, payments, etc. They all run right through me. My inbox constantly has 10-15 PMs in it throughout the day, and I try to keep up sending quotes, and answering any question I possibly can through PMs, otherwise I offer to give a phone call.

I am a true enthusiast & believer of Fast Intentions with a deep passion for what I do. I also personally will be going out to California in a few weeks. If it made sense personally for my family & I and if it were the right time for me, I would be living out there to service you all full time, but I'm not. The shop builds & ships/mails about 10-15 exhausts a week(Infiniti/Nissan), which doesn't include the Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, or Mitsubishi setups, OR older Nissan setups. The 10-12 week wait is not full "build time", it is partially wait time, cutting time, weld time, and piecing together. Some upgraded Xpipes, polishing, SS/CF canisters....etc etc etc. They truly hold ZERO inventory, meaning each and EVERY order is custom built to order to the customers request.

I even ordered MYSELF a new FI setup paired with RHFCs for my Nismo, the same setup I previously had on my G. I too have the same wait time as any of you that have ordered. This is why I always encourage everyone to get their $500- deposit in asap to get their wait time moving forward.

I'm sorry about the 6-8 week moving to 10-12 weeks. I first posted 6-8 which turned out to just be unrealistic for the shop to try and build, especially since the Z guys order just as much/more then the G site. Was only fair to keep everyone in the same wait line.

We don't accept bribes or incentives for customers to get their exhausts faster. We get offers for $500....$1000+++ to speed up wait times, but we just don't operate in that manner. We value each and every customer the same, meaning each order stays in the same assembly order.

To help answer the questions the user had above, and anyone else who have the same question. I waited about 10 weeks or so for the exhaust system and having it installed today, it was fully worth the wait. The quality of the exhaust was immaculate and welds were impeccable. Shipment was very well packaged and overall was just a good experience for me. Just buy other mods to keep your mind off this

Edit: Can I add that the sound of this exhaust was BEAUTIFUL? Videos seriously do NOT do justice.

I agree with Scoobykim - this exhaust sounds absolutely amazing. I installed mine a little over a week ago, and I couldn't be happier. Every time I start my car, it puts a big smile on my face. That deep bass tone at idle is simply phenomenal. Trust me, this exhaust is well worth the wait.

That is just too funny Scoobykim, I just ordered some pre cut Tint...20%on the doors 5% for the side windows and rear. I don't have the nav system so I ordered a wireless back up camera, and some other odds and sodds...lol
So I could do just what you suggested, keep busy till the exhaust gets here LOL Well ya know what they say.....great minds an all that.
DOMO
cheers
