^^^ I figured. That's what he told me also. Let's just hope we can get the exhaust soon. I want to start parting out my stock parts asap. Already order some parts already.

Anthony has a brand new set that he won at NISMO Fiesta that he said he might sell.

Someone school me. So this exhaust has the same design as the HKS exhaust when it comes to the canister section but the rest is different. So is this just another knock off of the HKS or what's the deal? Looks great though and it does look like high quality product from what I see of the weld quality.

Not a knock off .. No rasp , hiss and has a deep throaty tone . The big difference between the 2 is when u start adding HFC , test pipes or art pipes it sounds better .. Not like a$$ when u do the same with the hks .. I can talk chit about the hks exhaust .. I use to have one ..

It does have a Helmholtz canister design on the mufflers like HKS does. But beyond that they're not similar at all. Design, routing of the piping, size of the piping, materials, flange connectors, etc. are all different. This was designed and tested by Tony (who is proficient in fluid dynamics) from the ground up in Cali. Built in the USA. An HKS clone is a system that takes an HKS exhaust and makes an exact copy of it using cheaper production methods and materials somewhere in China, Taiwan, or Korea.

Thank you both for the details. I learned something new.

What do you guys think the difference is between the shockwave and TDX ? I couldn't really tell from the G37 video posted here since they didn't rev much.

This is sick, I am really hoping it sounds like this.
