New X Coupe owner with pics

I finally got my car, and after 3 hours of backbreaking detailing, I took these pictures. BTW, it's an Xcoupe, with Blue Slate/Stone interior, Premium and Navigation for $36,611.

I never want to detail again, it was so exhausting. I think I got sealant all over my glasses, too.

Ha no kidding. I ended up getting a better rate at the credit union (3.99) basically at the 11th hour so I'm waiting for the check and the loan docs to show up in the mail and then we'll make the drive to get it. The dealership just called me about two hours ago to tell me the car is done and 100 percent ready to go. It's killing me that I may end up picking it up Friday in that mess we're supposed to be getting weather wise but at least it'll go in the garage.

So I gotta wait a little bit longer. Still your ride looks awesome man! Makes it that much harder to wait. Congrats!

heh thanks man, i love Blue Slate. but i feel your pain over the wait. what you could do is pick up the car and write out a "good faith" check to hold them over till you give them the bank check. that's what i did.

in any event, you cant avoid the mess cause the next few days forecast rain. when you detail your car, tell me what products you used and how well they work. today i put a sealant on, hopefully correctly, and the exterior looks great - wet and shiny. i cant wait to put some carnauba wax tomorrow.

Yeah they offered me that option but the wife pulled rank on me and said we'll wait.

I'll definitely post pics once I get it home rain (or snow!) or shine. It's going to be my daily driver anyways so it's going to get some weather. I'll just have to be more diligent with the products I use to protect it.

I posted the quote I got for the 3M PPF from the place in Skippack down in the interior/exterior forum. Take a look down there when you get a chance.

I...can't....wait to get my G!

I was thinking the same thing. If you hear from Clear Choice let me know. I emailed them but didn't hear anything. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad to see some more X Coupe owners here. Looks great without a front license plate. I was lucky, my dealer did not install the bracket, so I'm without a front license plate. In NJ we are required to display front license plates.
