The G oozes class, elegance, and style the 370Z just doesn't. Plus you have a backseat. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't kick the 370Z out of bed for eating crackers, but when it comes to down to it, the G totally does it for me!

“Why yes, it is blue.”

At any rate, congratulations on your new car.
 That is so true. My Dad thinks it looks more like charcoal with a blue sheen, but it's definitely blue. Love it, it's damn sexy!!!

Thanks everyone, nice to be on board here. Such a nice, friendly group. Oh and I forgot to mention I don't have any mods at this time. She's bone stock.

Thanks Tom.

Shumby you and the wife are truly a Nissan family. We have that in common!! I love my Z and wouldn't trade her for anything, but the G has been my obsession and passion. Whenever I would see one drive by my heart would literally skip a beat. The 350Z just didn't do it for me. Haven't seen a 370Z in person, but I like it more than the 350Zs, especially it's sexy little backend. But, the G is the total package. When I turn the car on it returns the favor.

G>Z, I like the G better too, the Z is more of a all out sports car, but it does nothing for me. I wouldnt want to have just 2 seats, its nice to have the extra 2 seats, even thought I don't think I have had to use the back seat since I got the car. Don't get me wrong I like the 370z alot, but its not a car I would ever buy.

Me either. Besides I'm very partial to my Z32 (300ZX). That body style is so gorgeous, they haven't come up with anything to surpass it IMHO. Actually, many Z owners agree with me that the G35 and now G37 was the real evolution of the Z car into something amazing and fantastic. I think that is why I love the G so much. When I look at side photos of my G and Z the resemblence is there, but the improvement in the G is obvious. The G is just amazing in every way.

BTW, where are you in Long Island. Got my Phd at SUNY Stony Brook in 1998. Long Island must have many gorgeous Gs. There are literally a handful of Gs in the Panama City area. I will really stand out here.

Everyone is looking for a different car.

The 300ZX is closer to a G than it is the current Z in that the 300ZX is more of a GT car

Gratz on the car.

I like you already. The die hard Z32 owners agree wholeheartedly.

What do you use the 300ZX for? Any pics of it?

I went to StonyBrook for one year, I didnt really like the school so I transferred to CW Post. Stony Brook is about 20 mins from my house. There are alot of G/Z's around here, but most of them are stock. I did see a few modded ones at StonyBrook though.

Congrats and welcome. My wife and I have the Nissan/Infiniti thing going as well... 95 200SX SE-R with 230-240k miles, 02 Maxima with 170k miles, 08 FX45 with 11200 miles, and 08 G37 with about 7500 miles. You'll have to take some pictures of the Z and G together now Come summer I know I'll be getting some pictures of our lineup. I should've done it this past summer

yea true I see them everyday. I go to Nassau Community College and I see a couple G37's everyday. I feel you G37kitten, everytime I saw a G on the road I'd go freaking nutz. Most G's in the long Island area aren't modded ones anyways. Mostly stock sports.
