G37S 6MT delay

I have had the G37 Journey loaner foe a 1.5 weeks now and was supposed to get my car yesterday or today. The dealer called last night and said it will be the weekend or possibly Monday before my G37S comes in.

They just cant seem to get the 6MTs in at all in my area.

I guess I should look at the bright side, I have no car payments and have a free car. All things being equal, I would just assume have my car with the payments though.

So you mean, while waiting for your car to arrive, they give you a loaner 37??
Damn!, I wouldn't complain.

Yep, have a white (or Ivory) G37 Journey with Premium package that had 30 miles on it when they loaned it to me.

I am wondering if that sort of attitude is selfish or immature or disrepectful? Or, possibly, all three?

I am sorry that it is almost impossible to detect sarcasm over text, obviously next time since I know some members might lack the sense of humor, I will appropriately choose my words carefully as to not offend them.

instead of "drive the hell out of it" just enjoy the loaner until yours comes in. If you enjoy driving it a little "spirited" then so be it, i dont see how that can be a problem, unless you intentionally break something.

Congrats to be! i sure as hell couldn't wait for mine.

I have driven the car hard some and tested it but I am honestly doing a fair "break in" job for them. I am varying the RPMs and avoiding cruise control and am not driving it consistently at high RPMs.

I want the car dealers to continue to loan cars. If everyone drove it like they stole in on a loaner then it would never happen again.

I had to drop by the dealer earlier this afternoon so they could extend the date on my paperwork for the loaner since it acts as a temporary registration. They moved the date to 8-1-08 which tells me think it will take longer.

The car is in Brunswick GA currently and I am in NC. It seems like they could get it here within a week!

Good news! Dealer just called and let me know it just came in. He said it will be tomorrow before I can pick it up because they have to inspect it, get it detailed, etc.

I guess the dealers have no idea when the cars will be in!

I am glad to finally be getting mine!
