My first new car!

Every car up to this point for me has been a used vehicle. I just picked this beauty from Sewell Infiniti in Dallas, TX (which, by the way, have been AWESOME with everything), paid a nice downpayment and will be paying for it all on my own (which I don't think most 23 year olds can say!)

Black on Black/Aluminum. 6MT with the premium package, no navigation because the best nav is your brain IMO.

As being my first new car, it's also my first manual. I think I stalled at every light on the way home from the dealership. -_-;; I hope I get the hang of it, because this car is a beauty and I can't wait to be able to drive her well!

Congrats on the new car but trust me your not the only one in that age group paying for your car. I am 24 now and I own a condo, the g37, and a sportbike. Some people our age work there asses off and are good with there money. Good luck with the new ride and welcome.

Welcome to the forum. Nice color choice. There aren't many feelings of pure joy that can exceed your very first new car. You have an excellent one for your first that you will truly enjoy.

Wow, didn't know there were many of us buying Gs. The dealership was really surprised that I did everything on my own.

Thanks for the welcome everybody! My shifts are still pretty bad, and I'm still stalling it 1/4 of the time, but I hope to get the hang of it soon!

congrats on the car!!! my first new car too and in the same boat being young (25) and paying for it on my own. People can knock all they want about how having strict ol' school parents blows but trust me, in the end everyone wins if you listen to their advice and play by the rules. oh and plenty "kids" have this car and are paying for it on their own, the car isn't that expensive if you have a decent job, what knocks my socks off is my friend who just turned 24 and got an 08 maserati granturismo for himself as a b-day present paying 3,000 a month, now that’s impressive . Btw the clutch in the car is super sensitive compared to other cars, anyone saying they haven’t stalled are most likely lying. Just practice SLOWLY feather the gas/clutch for a month or 2 or until u feel smooth and you are not stalling anymore, no need to rush gunning it off the line, it’s a g37, the average person that knows anything about cars already knows that its fast. .

Congrats on the new car. I was 25 when I bought my first new car (10th Anniversary 280Z), There will be many more for you down the road if you have the same "disease" I have. I love my new G37S that I also got from Sewell. Stanley helped me and I highly recommend him to anyone in Texas looking for an Infiniti. It was a great experience. Now you have to get in that first 1200 miles

Yup I'm 23, bought my G by myself, own two corporations, and buying a house soon. It's nice that our community has many ambitious and successful twenty year olds.

Congrats on the car!! Awesome color combo..First time I've seen a black with the chrome spoiler..I actually like it...Like the contrast on black a lot! 26 when I got mine...there are quite a few people in their mid 20s on the board that bought it without mommy/daddy's help. Congrats and keep working hard! You'll see that your a lot more likely to go out to eat though (I do just so I can drive the G around) and in turn take longer lunch breaks then before the G.

Congrats.
I purchased my first new vehicle when I was 24 in 2006, a 2007 FJ Cruiser. I traded that in last month for the G. Paying for it on my own at 26 y.o. Loving every moment if it.

You got ***** buying a 6MT G37 w/o much manual tranny experience.
