1st tank of gas...

Filled up for the first time today - 20.2MPG, 324 or so miles traveled with a range of 76 remaining..All assuming the on-board systems are accurate.

Thoughts so far
I'm mildly impressed with milage for the 1st tank. It's almost as good as my SUV. Looking forward to improvement as it breaks in. And yes, most of my driving is long stretches of road without stop lights, stop signs, or even that much traffic really. My drive to work is 24 miles one way of fairly uninterupted cruising at 40-60 MPH

Seats are not up to Volvo comfort standards. My other car, is a Volvo SUV and the seats are MUCH more comfortable. Prior car also a Volvo - they know how to built comfy seats

I'm getting used to it, but headroom really needs another half to an inch. They ought to be able to come up with that without major changes. I'm 6 foot, and most of my height is in my torso. Leg room is plentiful. (I cant sit in the GS or IS Lexus at all - my head rubs on the headliner)

LOTS of power Of course I'm always mindful of the speed limit and seldom go over more than 5

I love the exhaust note, wife told me it's makes too much noise

Sound system quality is OK, nothing to get overly excited about - Again, my 4yr old Volvo is better. The Music Box is really sweet though.

Interior quality is very nice. I really like the contrasts of the Stone leather with the black dash and AG exterior.

I do need to take it back to the dealer - somewhere in the process one of the rear fenders took a few scrapes on the flange directly above the wheel- I'm hoping they can buff it out. I'd not be happy if they end up painting it. I didn't see it in the dealers delivery garage under low light. maybe that's why they do it that way. And I've got a noise that sounds like the passenger window is loose - glass thumpin against metal, when I hit a bump. AND, they put the D@#M front plate bracket on even though I told them at least 5 times NOT TOO. Now my wife doesn't want it taken off - something about staying legal

Otherwise

And before some one posts about PICS, maybe this weekend

Nice looking ride, Mark. Good mileage! I filled up last night and got 19.34 mpg, up from 18 something the tank before. Mine is pretty new too, only 850 miles so maybe the mileage will get better.

How do you like the AG color? Mine is AG as well and I must admit, I really didn't know about the name of the color or its implications. I was just picking between "grays" and liked how the AG looked like it had metallic in it. After getting it home and seeing it in different light I started noticing all the different tints this thing shows, some of which I'm not crazy about.

My friends all say it looks great but the jury's still out with me. How about you?

SuperDave, I kinda felt the same way, I was going to do OB and changed my mind at the last minute (something to do with keeping it clean...Blah).
When the sun is out, it looks beautiful. I saw it at the dealer and knew that was the one. Give it time. Plus I have yet to see another AG around here, everyone seems to have bought OB (yet another reason I did otherwise).

Not to say the color is all that, but it reminds me of an Aston Martin Vanquish I saw once, just a classier color...

No offense to others, but the coupe color choices aren't very interesting to me. AG was second choice. I really wanted Lakeshore Slate but they don't offer that color for the coupe. I do like the AG color. Both my wife and I were immediately drawn to one the dealer had polished up for the front of the building. It's got a little something extra that seems to add a touch of class. It also stands out from a sea of plain grey and silver cars out there.

Almost 1000 miles now and I'm at 21.1mpg! Now the mileage is getting up to where my SUV is.

What with all the OB?? Half the dealer inventory was black. Maybe they sell the other colors first? Black is really nice to look at when it's clean and before it's all scratched up. My sons Z is black and he's always cuss'n the scratches that show so much on that color.

Black is the worst of the colors to have when it comes to scratches. It's really a pain!

Just FYI, i heard a similar sound, but narrowed it down to the passenger seat belt buckle slapping around. Try adjusting where the little arm is located. Of course, if you're hearing it with a passenger in the car...nevermind

PS: Make sure you are varying your RPMs and doing some engine braking during your break-in period on those no-stop drives...

PPS: Oh, and if you really want to go nuts on gas mileage, trying shifting at the manual listed speeds (@8/16/25/28/33mph) and accelerating softly for a tank...it's kind of fun in it's own way....at times....

Mine was the plastic trim at the base of the windshield. It would flex and pop against the glass when going over bumps- and really loud if you hit the bump at an angle. Don't know what they did, but it's fixed
