I just realized 3/28 is next Friday!! That's the estimated time for delivery of my new G37S-6MT. I spoke with my dealer a couple weeks ago and they said I may get it earlier.

The full brunt of excitement hasn't hit me until now. It's going to happen really soon!!!

I won't contain myself when I'm in the car.

 

you'll love it. I had to wait 3 months for mine so i know the excitment you are feeling right now. it will seem like the longest week of your life though.

As you probably already know, its DEFINITELY well worth the wait! What options and colr scheme are you getting Black guy?

 

Oh the wait...man that was a long time ago for me. Imagine putting your deposit down back in June for getting the first G37 in your town and not getting it until end of Oct because the ordering manage messed up when Infiniti lost the orders and didn't reorder your stuff...that was me.

 

i remember this feeling!! when I first saw her sitting on the showroom floor I got butterflies (sounds gay I know, sue me alright). i kept thinking, "that's my car, damn... thats my car!!"

and then driving out of the dealership and onto the streets and watching all the heads turn (back in Sept) there were little to no G37's on the road.

Let the sleepless nights begin.

 

Well, it looks like the date is much later..like by two weeks or so.

This is according to the ETA of the "Autoliner" that Infiniti uses. So it looks like my delivery date may be April 12th.

Right now, the ship is on the Pacific side, northwest of the Panama Canal.

Still, I went to the local dealership yesterday to visit my near twin.

 

Dang, i would really hate to wait that long...lucky for me they had a whole bunch of G's on the lot so i drove off the same day!

 

When I'm excited about something that's supposed to happen like this, I tend to keep it to myself based on past experience. It sucks enough to have said event not happen or be delayed, only to inform friends and family that said event or occasion has been canceled or delayed just amplifies my frustration. It's made me superstitious about things like this so now I don't yap about anticipated happy events 'till they occur nowadays...
I'm sure all the forum members will be ecstatic when your whip finally arrives.

Totally unexpected surprise!!

I got the call!!! My dealer just called to say my car just arrived. I'll be doing the lease deal soon..holy crap!! Maybe I'll head to Boston for the day this Saturday!!


Apparently, they came from a train from California..not by ship around the Panama Canal. Makes more sense!!

Ok..I'm home now..I found out when I was at work and my colleague said to just go get it!! She's excited for me too. My wife's excited. I was shocked!!

I only have Friday to do all the paperwork..can they do this fast enough? I may have to wait until the following week - as was the original plan - to get everything in order and take delivery. It's all out of state..
