Unhappy Athens Blue w/ Spoiler, Day 2 :-(

So I've owned my G37 for around 24 hours and this happens:

*cries* I never thought this could happen to me... and I never knew how easy it was to do...

Only solution is $1,000 for a new rim, right? Or can something be done to help the appearance a bit?

Dang Martin!! That sucks!! Did you hit the curb? How many spokes are rashed?

The dealer should be able to fix.

Thanks for the responses all - if anyone knows a decent repair shop in NoVA let me know - otherwise I'll probably just go back to the dealer (though I might wait, I don't want them to laugh at me lol).

Unfortunately, at that point in time, I was not getting head :-P I just wasn't thinking and turned the wheel when I had parked too close to the curb.

It was the worst sound I've ever heard in my whole life.

back when i bought my 2003 g35 coupe on day four or so i pulled into a 7/11 and the nastiest sound was made when my front bumper didnt clear the curb in front of the store.... missed it by a millimeter. to be honest it wasnt a bad thing as i hate waiting for that first scratch or ding to happen on a new car.. was glad to get it over with.

Getting head? . There are shops that specialize on these type of repair. Try your local wheel repair shop. Good luck.

Very good reason why I park like 6" to a foot away from the curb... I'll be damned if that will happen to me. Especially when you pay 5k+ for rims and tires... Bull**** on that

if you don't want to get raped on prices. DO NOT go to the dealership. Go over the your regional g35driver subforum and ask around for references.

similar thing happened to me but it wasn't day 2. lol. good luck!

With all honesty, it doesn't look that bad. I would leave it like that for awhile and who knows, maybe by then, you'll go aftermarket rims.

Dang bro, sorry about the nasty rash. That would irritate the heck out of me. Hope you get it fixed soon.
