Towing G37X Question

Owners manual says only flatbed or lift 2 wheels on tow truck and other 2 on dollies. My car is at my friend's house 4 miles away and won't crank. Can I tow it home with another car this short distance in Neutral if I go real slow like 5 MPH? Its real cold here and I'm tried of working on it outside in the snow.

By tow you mean carry or pull? If you are really towing maybe you can just unbolt the rear drive shaft and lift the car from the front .

Going 5mph and about 4 miles away ,that's close to 1 hr of towing. Not something I would recomend doing. Not sure what your financial situation is but have you looked into renting the equipment yourself, I know u-haul has trailers and trucks for rent. maybe 80 to 100 dollars price range for a day. I know it's not far but could potentially save you way more if the drive train is potentially damaged.
I would advise against pulling it no matter the speed put if you do I would say pick some good hrs like between 12am to 4 am when their's less traffic on the road.

I'm in the mountains so just back roads and no traffic, only 2 stops signs from there to me.

I don't think it is worth the risk.
When you flat tow a car without the engine running, the automatic transmission isn't pumping the fluid to lubricate everything in the transmission. Even in neutral, there are many parts in the transmission that are directly connected to the output shaft/driveshaft.

As I see it your options are:
Pay for a proper tow or risk damaging the transmission and AWD system.

If I hit the ESCL and can't get it to start, I'll have it flat bed towed to my house. Thank You!
