Ported Upper Plenum - How's it Look?

Hows it look? The spots in the runners that look darker are still a little damp. Not sure what they cleaned it with before sending it out maybe brakleen or somthing similar.

No this other company out of Florida, Vqboysperformance. I saw them on YouTube with this one guys G that ran low 12s in the 1/4 NA. The source the part and port it for under 400 bucks figured I'd give em a shot. Worst case scenario I'll send out of OEM one to Z1. I think it looks ok, but idk.

I see some uneven spots, nothing that will hurt, looks ok. I guess a lot of folks look for that Instagram look.
These make a bit more power but from the pictures as you can see it's not going to be much. Any smoothness helps overall but again, nothing special.

Not yet probably will be doing it over the weekend, wanted to wait till I got my rear diff bushings so I could do it all in one shot at work. I should have gotten the lower too, but I'll wait to order that till middle of the winter. Hoping to feel a little bit of a gain, not expecting much but anything would be nice. Will update though as soon as I do incase anyone on here wants to order from the same company.

Looking at the mods in your sig, do you have any drone with your exhaust set up?

I feel that these porting mods that I did helped the car pick up better from a stop with less drone. The throttle is definitely more lively. It's a shame that the cars didn't come calibrated this way from the factory. this is how cars should drive.

Things I noticed:

-Throttle response significantly improved. It feels good to press the pedal since there is now output to my input.

-More power? Yes there is more power but in a way that I can't understand

Summary? You press the pedal and the car goes better. The power delivery feels quite indulgent compared to before.

Not really any drone at all. I commute around 60 miles a day round trip to work each day, all high way crusing 70-80 mph and no drone. I think I might be getting rid of the high flow cats and going ISR longtube headers to step it up a little bit. Probably in the winter at some point. Overall though it's a nice set up I am very pleased with it. Normal VQ raspiness, but no drone.

Do you have an automatic or manual transmission? I'm convinced that the auto working with the engine produces the drone at certain RPMs.

Automatic trans, I think the lack of drone is because I have the stillen catback exhaust which is a little on the quieter side unless high rpm.
