Hey guys how's it going.

I have an '08 Auto 5 speed G35 with 112k miles on it. Recently while I was driving the car on D, the car would slip into 1st or 2nd gear randomly (it would say so on the dashboard) and then switch back into D. I don't drive on sports mode either. This started happening as of 2 weeks ago and has been occurring sporadically.

There are no lights, so I went to my mechanic and he said the were no codes that he could pull. Said it might be a transmission valve body wear and tear that's causing it not able to switch the gears properly? When I bought the car used, it already had replacement tranny with 50k miles on it. I have also done a transmission fluid change about a year ago.

*** Car has been experiencing rough starts, been trying to fix it with my mechanic but don't know what's causing it, been happening for a month now.

- Tuned by RAD
- Cold air intakes (cleaned as of recent)
- Did a gas leak test, nothing out of ordinary

Does anybody know what this may be causing this?
