Good afternoon everyone! My 2013 G Non - Sport Journey is 67k miles and it is about time for an oil change. I just want to make sure that I am following the recommended intervals because I plan on keeping the car for many more years to come. I performed all major intervals such as transmission oil change and the car is running amazing. Other than the oil change and basic inspection, is there anything else I need to look out for? I take my car to a Toyota dealership for the mean time because the Nissan dealership in my town is not the best one to go to. Also, is it time for me to switch to synthetic oil because I am reaching the high mileage club? I read somewhere that switching to synthetic will be better for my engine and transmission in the long run at high mileage. Thanks for your help in advance!
Synthetic oil is always the best choice, and you don’t have to change is as frequent as you would do with basic regular oil. I usually change my every 6k mile or sooner varying on if I am beating on the car. But here is what the service schedule recommends
