I might be changing my seats out to some aftermarket seats due to some shipping damage.
I noticed the seat belt buckle is part of the stock seat.
Does anybody know what solutions are available to use an aftermarket seat with the stock seatbelt? Or do you have to go 5 point harness no matter what?

 

Schroth Rallye3 is not a 5-point but it does rely upon the stock anchor for the lap belts.

Why not acquire another seat to replace the damaged one?

 

That's among the possibilities im looking at. It's that shipping the stock seats are very heavy plus hazmat and I'm working overseas. The stock seats attend readily available in Germany

 

Hazmat? What is chemically hazardous about the G seat?

Well duh. The side airbags.

Are 370Z seats more readily available? Don't know that they'll bolt up but it's worth looking into.
