Question G37 Coupe Oil Change

Hey so I recently bought my 2010 G37 Coupe about 3 month ago and figured its about time for its oil change by myself and I can not seem to find anywhere what needs to be taken off to reach to oil drain plug and oil filter, I have gotten underneath the car and it looks like the undercarriage needs to come off but if anyone could instruct me where the drain plug and oil filter are and what all needs to come off I would appreciate it a lot saying I can only find info on this for Sedans.

As long as you are RWD its the same for coupe and sedans. There may be a smaller access panel you can unbolt on the under shroud which wil allow you to reach the drain bolt and the filter...if you dont have an access panel in your shrould you have have to unbolt the large plastic undershoud at least half way and fold it over or just unbolt it completly...the filter on the RWD cars is near the bottom of the engine and faces the side of the car..the drain bolt is not too far from it....dig around on here, there a many threads with tons of pictures and at least one DIY

Not very difficult but be sure you have all the correct tools
Do not use the jack that came with the vehicle
Use a hydraulic jack with jack stands
A cordless drill with a socket extension makes the job easier to remove the shroud

Remove the fourteen 10mm bolts that fasten the fiber board shroud which makes access to the oil drain plug and oil filter much easier
