Can you advise on where you purchased the part from & the part number? Any recommendation on installation besides what you had mentioned about tightening it & loosening it? The dealership will not sell individual part but the whole assembly & quoted $5k.

Symptom: Seats (driver) will not move forward & backward. The seats up/down & back lean are working.

Please refer to the place and part number you purchased the part from. Thanks in advance

 

Have you searched on eBay?

To the best of my knowledge this isn't a common failure so the odds of purchasing a used part with the same issue would be very low.

yes, looked at eBay but not sure on the part i need or if passenger side will work or not.

I bought a used seat (for parts) & attempted to do the repair. I think i didnt do the repair correctly.

My recommendation is to go purchase a used working seat. I was able to find one for about $150 or $175.
