How fast will battery die out with this ignition on

How fast will battery die out with this ignition on

I turned my car off and left ignition on for just a little bit listening to the radio and when I went to turn the car on it died is it normal for the dye out that quick I'm talking about maybe 10 minutes.

Answer is it varies. What kind of battery? Is it fully charged? How old is it? Is there a bad cell? Were the lights on? No way to know for sure but you can get your battery tested to make sure it's good.

No it will not kill a healthy battery in 10 minutes. Was ignition in on or ACC? Only thing I could see is if you had it in the on position and had the seat heaters going too. Your battery is likely on its way out though.

If car is running battery gets charged by alternator

I sat for almost 45 minutes listening to an audiobook over lunch one day and it started right up afterwards. Just a normal off the shelf battery from Autozone, nothing special.
