So my car started doing some crazy stuff when I tried driving it today.

When I first turned my car on to go to work I noticed that the "key" light and the "engine maintenance soon" light was on which was unusual.

Then while I was still idling my car just turned off. But it does this weird thing where it won't shut off completely but it will turn itself back on but won't let me drive it. So I have to shut it off entirely, put it back in "P" and press the start button to start driving again.

Then while driving the dash will shut off, hazards will flash, and wipers will wipe but I can still drive the car and it still accelerates when pressing the gas pedal.

Another thing I noticed is that I can't do manual selection of gears from the "+ & -" with the paddles or the shifter as it won't let me. It'll just stay in "D" if I put it into that mode.

Any help on what's going on?

 

Have you pulled any codes trans sensor could be bad
